Show Schedule 2016

I've been working hard at generating new paintings for this year's art shows. I've already completed 29 including commissions! So far, I am participating in four of the Annapolis First Sunday Arts Festivals this year! These include:

June 5th 11-5

July 3rd 11-5

September 4th 11-5

October 2nd 11-5

I am also reapplying for Bazaart at the American Visionary Art Museum. I will learn in mid August if I make it in. That show runs November 25-26th.

Recent Commission

I'm super proud of this commission I did for Trish de Orio! It was an anniversary gift for her husband of their pup, Oso:

2015 Wrap-Up

Thanks for an amazing year! What an adventure it's been. I've done five art shows, painted 53 paintings, made some fantastic connections, and learned so much. I'm currently cooped up indoors with pneumonia, but fortunately painting is a nice activity to do while recuperating. Because of this, I had time this week to record myself doing a painting from beginning to end, and I'm excited to share it with you now!

*New Year's Day update- the total number of paintings this year was 58!I crushed my previous record of 41.

Latest Developments

Exciting news! I have been following an amazing craft blog, Aunt Peaches, for years. We started exchanging emails and decided to swap art. I sent her the Hairless Cat and she sent me this gorgeous flower!

I can't tell you how elated I was just to receive this painting from her. And what's more, Peaches liked the painting I sent so much that she did a blog post on it! Thanks again for the thrilling shout out, Peaches! Here's the post if you're curious.

In other news, I've made it into the American Visionary Art Museum's Bazaart! This is an incredible museum; my favorite, really, and I highly recommend visiting that as well as the art show in which I shall be participating. Bazaart has a special sneak preview on Friday, November 27th from 5:30-8:00 and runs Saturday the 28th from 10:00-5:00.

Other upcoming shows include two more First Sunday Arts Festivals in Annapolis, on September 6th and October 4th. The July show I did here was very pleasant and the town is adorable, with lots to see and do. Stop by if you can!
